Homeowners and households can access various programs and financial assistance, such as grants or tax credits, offered by the government and Hydro-Québec for their renovation projects.
LogisVert program - Residential component
Whether you're a tenant or a homeowner of a house, condominium, duplex, or multi-unit building, Hydro-Québec's LogisVert program offers financial assistance for the installation of energy-efficient measures, such as a high-performance heat pump, an induction stove, roof insulation, or weatherstripping. This assistance, which can reach up to $7,840, is retroactive for work done since January 1, 2023.
Canada Greener Homes Grant
The Canadian Greener Homes Grant helps homeowners improve the energy efficiency of their homes, providing more comfort and reducing energy costs while contributing to the fight against climate change. It can cover up to $5,000 of renovation expenses. Additionally, an extra amount of up to $600 is available for ÉnerGuide evaluations done before and after the work.
Canada Greener Homes Loan
The Canadian Greener Homes Loan program allows residential homeowners to obtain an interest-free loan of up to $40,000 to carry out renovations recommended in an ÉnerGuide evaluation. These renovations aim to improve the energy efficiency of a home, thereby reducing its environmental footprint and energy costs.
Rénoclimat Program
The Rénoclimat program offers advice and financial assistance to encourage homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. It supports renovations such as insulation, air sealing, and the installation or replacement of mechanical systems, including heat pumps.
